"Cosy appartment, would suit busy professionals, all mod cons".

You just got to love real estate agent terminology. The inspiration for this came from an old newpaper article about the horrors of shopping for a place to live and dealing with real estate agents along with its acompanying illustration.

About a week in making and lit mostly with final gather along with some added ambient. Fairly simple modeling, its was a nice change from my other processor melting works of late. The lighting and textureing took a bit to get right. There was also a fair bit of tweeking in photoshop afterwards.

v1.1 All photoshop work, mostly brightening it up a bit as well as adding a few more touches and some general tiding up.

i love the textures, all i ca say is it loks fantastic, so... soft, it must have taken a fairly long time to render out, as a fellow maya user, i try not to use mental ray much because rendering a full animation in it would take forever, althought if the techs at uni would let me set up a proper render farm for the CG students there, i would be able to take my work in there and render it, but at the moment im stuck with my slow 1.7ghz machine. her names sasha and im thinking of putting her out on the street to earn herself some cash for upgrades.
