Looks like its powering a system by harnessing the life of the flower! (in my head anyhow!)

This reminds me of the style of H.R. Giger (the set designer of the Aliens movies). I must admit that I am constantly cast into a state of awe with every look at your gallery!

I love your style! It's so unrealistic in the positive way! This thingie on the left seems to me a gardener. The textures and geometry are beautiful, however the rose is too evenly lit.

Is it just me or does the rose's container look a bit... saucy? In the thumbnail view I thought it was a Bender-type robot with its hand on its hip.

If the Little Prince's rose were in a containment unit, it'd probably look like this!

... the soft-sculpture feel in this is so intense, and the theme is wondrous... organic images are not the easiest thing to pull off in 3D modeling, but you've done a great job at this, and the short field-of-view makes the tubes and wires come alive...

Sweet concept :) I love the idea of something so mechanical cultivating the living  I assume the rose was post PS. If so you really did a wonderful job giving it the look of 3D and in the vial behind the glass :w00t:

Everything was done in Maya but the rose was touched up quite a bit in in photoshop.
