Anther old sketch I decided to have a go at makeing.
This work was plagued by the strangest problems. I couldn't for the life of me get the weighting for the skeleton right. For instance moveing the arm would cause the ankles and part to the head to distort, movieing the head would distort the tail. I fixed most of it but in the end I had to clean up some of it in photoshop.
The perspective veiw froze in place and couldn't be changed. Every once in a while some peice of geometry would disappear or its Cv would be rearanged at random. During a test render the scence came out fine except that it took ages and the changun was this black sqaure, like a hole had been cut in the scence. To fix it I had build the chaingun belt again from scratch.
